멀티플레이어 - 멀티 컴퓨터, 우주 정거장 시물레이션 게임 [아르테미스(Artemis)].
아직 해보지 않았고 해볼 생각도 없는데 존재 자체가 나름 깨서 소개해봅니다.
아르테미스는 멀티플레이어 - 멀티 컴퓨터 네트워크 게임입니다. 여러 컴퓨터를 네트워크로 연결해 즐기는 우주 정거장 시물레이션인데, 컴퓨터 한대가 시물레이션을 돌리며 '메인 스크린' 역할을 하고, 다른 사람들은 엔지니어링 - 무기 콘트롤 등의 자신 분야를 맡아 플레이한다 합니다. 물론 '캡틴'은 중앙에 앉아 다른 사람들 지시하는 역할.
존재 자체가 시대착오적이거나 놀랍거나 기타 등등의 생각이 다 드는데, 게임 가격은 40$(!)입니다만, 6명까지 참여 가능한 각 우주선 전체 가격이라고 합니다. 즉 선장만 사면 나머지 승무원들은 넘겨받아 즐기면 되는... (이라고는 하는데 DRM이 없으므로...)
자세한 사항은 공식 홈페이지를 가보시길. 참고로 bandcamp에 올라와있는 음악은 꽤 좋은편입니다.
